Zambezi Region

- Eastern Zambezi Region -

Chobe River

The Zambezi region is a 460 km long and between 30 and 60 km wide land corridor in the north-eastern corner of Namibia. This is a warm, humid and water-rich world whose fauna and flora is in no way inferior to that of the neighboring Okavango Delta in Botswana. Hippos, crocodiles, countless bird species as well as lions, elephants and buffalo can be observed here.
